Geoffrey Fisher was born in South London in 1953 and studied Fine Art at Hornsey College of Art until 1976 when he began working as assistant to the sculptor Ivor Abrahams. After an extended period abroad where he establishes himself as a Designer/ Maker he returned to this country to work in the Film Industry as a Model Maker and Scenic Artist.

He began making and exhibiting his Boxed Constructions in 1995 and took part in “The Map Is Not The Territory” the first of three exhibitions curated by Jane England at England and Co in 2001. His work can be found in private and corporate collections both in this country and abroad.
